Savannah City Administrator Resigns
Savannah, MO (June 4, 2013) – On Monday, June 4, City Administrator Jill Cornett submitted her written resignation. The Board of Aldermen approved the resignation effectively immediately and putting Cornett on 30 days paid leave.
Cornett started working for Savannah as City Administrator March 2011.
She leaves Savannah to work for the City of Lake Lotawana.
“We wish Jill the best in her new job,” said Mayor Connie George.
The City will begin the process of advertising for a new City Administrator.
